The Deanship of Admission and Registration announces the names of candidates who are qualified to enter the English language test for English bachelor specialization at the College of Languages and Translation in Abha.

These candidates have been nominated according to their secondary school percentages as well as their nominated wishes during the process of e-registration. In order to be accepted into the Faculty of Languages and Translation, they must pass the English Language Test for English BA specialization. The dates of the English Language Test are as follows:

Important notes:

  • This test is required for the candidates of English bachelor specialization at the Faculty of Languages and Translation College only in Abha, not other regions.
  • The current nomination does not mean final acceptance into the English program.
  • The candidates must get the required degree for passing the test in order to get nominated for the specialization. 
  • Not taking the test will eliminate your right to be accepted into the English program.
  • The candidates must bring any of the following documents to prove their identities (ID, Passport, Driving License).

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at KKU is pleased to announce the names of successful applicants for fee-based Masters Programs for the academic year 1439-1440 AH. To complete the procedure of admission, the candidates should bring the documents listed below starting from Monday 14/11/1439 AH and ending on Wednesday 19/11/1439 AH.

Consideration 1

Bring the original copy of the required documents below for verification:

  • Graduation Certificate
  • Academic Record
  • Scientific Recommendations
  • National Identification or Family Identification.
  • TOEFL test or its equivalent for the programs that requires.   

 

Consideration 2

Candidates have to pay the study-fees.

Successful male candidates should visit the Graduate Studies Deanship to complete the procedure of admission in the main campus (Guraiger), in Building D, at the Main Services Hall, as stated on the dates above from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.

Successful female candidates should visit the Vice Presidency of Graduate Studies at the Lasan Admissions Hall, starting from 11:00 am to 01:00 pm, as stated on the dates above.

In case of inability to follow the specific period above, the offer of admission will be canceled. In its place, another candidate will be selected from the reserve list according to order.

 

Consideration 3

Candidates who are admitted for the second semester (complementary) will be contacted later to determine the date of receiving their receipts and complete their procedures.

Inside Scholarship Requests Begin

The General Administration for Scholarship Students at King Khalid University announces the start of scholarship requests for international applicants through the electronic portal of the Deanship of Admissions and Registration for the academic year 1439/40 AH. It will begin on Sunday 23/11/1439 AH and end on Sunday 8/12/1439 AH.

Dates, Conditions, and Procedures for Admission and Registration

Body: 

Admission Conditions:

  • The applicant must be a Saudi.
  • The applicant must have a National Identity (NI).
  • The applicant must not have been dismissed academically or disciplinarily from King Khalid University or any other Saudi university.
  • The secondary school cumulative grade point average of the applicant who wishes to apply for health colleges must be at least 90%. He/she also must be a graduate of the same year.
  • The applicant must not exceed more than five years from the day of his/her secondary school graduation.

Registration Time:

The applicant can apply for admission starting from 17/10/1439 AH up to 10/11/1439 AH.

Registration and Admission Procedures:

  • Go to registration and admission website (click here).
  • Confirm the national identity number.
  • Complete the information as clarified on the website.
  • Register the mobile number carefully because it will be the means of communication with you.
  • Select the specializations respective to your priorities.
  • The applicant's certificate data and tests of the national center for assessment (Qiyas) will be taken from the concerned bodies directly.

Dates of Nomination:

  • The First Batch including students with 80% to 100% average will be on 15/11/1439 AH.
  • The Second Batch including students with 75% to 100% average will be on 18/11/1439 AH.
  • The Third Batch will be on 22/11/1439 AH according to the available seats.

Note that:

  • Selections of specializations will appear according to the applicant's average. The nomination will depend on the applicants' averages and available seats.
  • The applicants should view and respond to the request with either approval or refusal within 48 hours from the nomination dates.
  • After approving the nominated request (specialization), the student will receive a message including the academic number within 48 hours.
  • In case the applicant refuses the nominated specialization, his/her right to it will no longer apply. Then, he/she will select between applying to the next level or withdrawing from the admission.

The nomination is according to the eligible degree percentage and measured degree percentage, and they are counted as follows:

Eligible Degree percentage: 30% Cumulative average, 30% Aptitude test, and 40% Scholastic achievement admission test.

Measured degree percentage: 50% Cumulative average, 50% Aptitude test (for theoretical specializations).

In case the student neither approves or refuses the nominated specialization, his/her admission application will be withdrawn.

The free advantages of the program:

1. There will be an open day including sports activity once in a week under the supervision of a professional trainer. It is optional.

2. The program participant can attend a free course prepared by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, entitled 'How do you pass the exams with distinction?' before the final exams of next year. A certified educational instructor will deliver it.

3. At the end of the program, there will be a closing ceremony to distribute the certificates to participants and prizes for outstanding students.

4. The participants will be given certificates of attendance accredited by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education.

Dates of Registration for Supplementary Bachelor Degree for the First Semester

Notes:

All candidates must take an exam prepared by the faculty of Computer Science in Abha & the Faculty of Administrative Sciences in Abha. Diploma holders have 10% of the available seats for all the candidates. Candidates will be selected by giving 60% for the written exam & 40% for GPA.
