The Deanship of Graduate Studies is pleased to invite all graduate and postgraduate students to participate in the Graduate Studies Scientific Forum which will be held in Jumādā Al-Awwal. Participants are instructed to please note the following:

  Participating with a research poster (150 words) Arabic or English, (The abstract must be attached in word file).

  Participating in the scientific symposium entitled 'Graduate Studies and the Kingdom Vision 2030', (The student CV, title, angle and summary of participation must be attached in one file).

  Participating in a training workshop (The student CV and the proposed workshop information and topics must be attached in one file).

The Deanship of Admissions and Registration is pleased to announce the registration and handling process for the 2nd semester of academic year 1439/40 AH in accord with the following dates:

 Students who are expected to graduate (1436 AH batch and less including internal visitor students) will be

from 27/04/1440 AH to 28/04/1440 AH.

 Other students including internal visitor students will be

from 29/04/1440 AH to 02/05/1440 AH.

 Requests through the Tawasol service (adding or dropping a course) will start

from 03/05/1440 AH and end on 05/05/1440 AH.

 Receiving external visitor students' requests will be

from 30/04/1440 AH to 03/05/1440 AH.

 Visitor students to another university will be

from 01/03/1440 AH to 04/05/1440 AH.

 Internal change and changing specialization from one college to another will be 

from 23/04/1440 AH to 26/04/1440 AH.

 External change including transferring from another university to King Khalid University will be

First: Applying to Change Specializations (colleges):

Application Deadline:

Sunday 23/04/1440 AH to Wednesday 26/04/1440 AH.

General Conditions and Regulations:

 Applications will only occur through the electronic portal Academia (click here).

 The student must adhere to the stated dates - no manual request will be received.

 All the applications will be treated according to the capacity of the college and the candidate's GPA.

Examples:

 Changing from civil engineering to industrial engineering. 

 Changing from the College of Administrative Sciences to the College of Engineering. 

Specific Conditions:

 Students can apply only once for a transfer from one college to another and twice between departments of the same college.

 Students can have a maximum of three selections organized in accord with stated preferences. 

 Students must have completed more than two semesters but not more than four semesters

Example:

Specific Conditions:

 The student's GPA must be at least 3 or above out of 5.

 Students must have completed more than two semesters but not more than six semesters

Application Deadline:

From 14/3/1440 up to 25/4/1440

General Conditions and Regulations Include:

 The applicant must be a Saudi or of a Saudi Mother;

 All applications are subject to the department council and will be chosen according to GPA;

 Students must have a cumulative average of at least two semesters and not more than four semesters;

 Students must pass any test required by the department or college transferred to - if any.

Note: 

 No application will be considered after 25/4/1440

Specific Conditions:

 Students must submit the application on the university website.

 All requirements must be completed on the designated platform (Click Here).

 Change application from the university website.

 A recent academic record - 'last academic semester'.

 A copy of the student high school diploma.

 Applicant must save the application online and print a hard copy.

Supplementary Bachelor Announcement for the 2nd semester of academic year 1439/40 AH

The Admission and Registration Deanship announces the commencement of the admission to the supplementary Bachelor for the alumni and alumnae who have parallel specializations in the community colleges of King Khalid University (KKU).

Application Mechanism:

 Go to Academia e-portal on this link https://registration.kku.edu.sa

 Select admission.

 Select supplementary bachelor for diploma holders.

Application Date:

It starts on 23/04/1440 AH and lasts up to 26/04/1440 AH.

Application Conditions:

 The applicant must be a KKU graduate. 

 The applicant must be able to join for full-time study. 

 The applicant must complete at least 60% of the diploma study plan requirements.  

 To join the specializations of Information Systems, Computer Operation Programming, the applicant's GPA must be 3.25/5 or above.  

 To join the specializations of Accounting and Business Administration, the applicant's GPA must be 3/5 or above.  

 The applicant can enter the written exam only once.  

Notes:

 The applicant needs to attend the written exams held by the College of Computer and College of Administrative and Financial Sciences. 

 Yearly, 10% of admission in supplementary bachelor will be dedicated to diploma graduates. 

 The differentiation between diploma applicants will be counted as 60% written exam + 40% GPA.

King Khalid University is announcing the need to hire citizens for numerous academic vacancies held by non-citizens in the following colleges and specializations at the Tuhama campuses for the 1440-41 AH academic year.

General conditions:

  • The applicant must be Saudi.
  • All applicants must have a Ph.D. as well as a rank from a Saudi university or another university which Saudi Arabia recognizes in the applicant's field of specialization.
  • The doctoral specialization must be continuous from both the BA and MA field of study (specialization).
  • The applicant must pass an interview and exams of the college(s) (if any).
  • The applicant must have obtained their degrees through regular study and residence in the country of study and not through affiliation or correspondence or distance education. If the applicant graduated from a university where the medium of instruction is not in English, he\she must bring documents that demonstrate his\her ability to teach in English.
  • When applying for the languages and health programs, the applicants must achieve at least 550 in the TOEFL Test or 6.5 in the IELTS Test. 
  • When applying for other programs which are taught in English, the applicants must achieve at least 500 in the TOEFL test or 6 in the IELTS Test.

Program "INTERNSHIP"

Body: 

In the interest of the General Administration of Information Technology at King Khalid University to grant the opportunity to enrich the skills of the youth and girls of the country in the technical field by giving them the field of applied practice in one of the existing technical projects that are implemented and supervised by.

In line with the University's strategic plan and vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 to increase and localize IT professionals and related fields to meet future needs in this field, and contribute to the refinement of their skills and enrichment to give them a great opportunity for employment in the applied technical fields. King Khalid University, represented by the General Directorate of Information Technology, launched this program.
