Signing a Cooperation Agreement with the Charitable Foundation for Orphans Care (Ekhaa)

Source: KKU - Media Center His Excellency, the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Sulami, sponsored the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Charitable Foundation for Orphans Care (Ekhaa) Asir branch.  Vice President of Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al Hedaithy, represented the University in signing the agreement, while Ekhaa Foundation was represented by Prof. Saleh bin Khalif Al Dahmashi, Secretary General of the Charitable Foundation for Orphans Care (Ekhaa), and Consultant of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development.  Al Hedaithy, explained that the agreement includes cooperation in the following areas: organizing academic, educational and entertaining programs and events for orphans, working on easing the procedures of accepting orphans to the university academic programs, in accordance to the Deanship of Admission regulations and conditions.  The agreement also includes supporting orphans psychologically and socially by cooperating with the Guidance and Consultation Center at the University, through supporting talented orphan students, and offering training courses. In addition to offering medical care through the university's dental clinics and medical centers.

University Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Association of Management Accountants

Source: King Khalid University, Media Center The University Vice President for Business and Knowledge Economy, Prof. Abdul Latif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, witnessed the  signing of a cooperation agreement between the university and  the Association of Management Accountants in the university city Qureir, in order to enhance cooperation between the two parties.  The head of Governance Center, Prof. Murya Habbash, represented the university in signing the agreement while Mr. Hassan Al- Bahes, president of IMA represented the Association of Management Accountants.  Al-Habbash, explained that the areas of this agreement include pushing and encouraging cooperation in the field of lectures, seminars and events that aim at professional and scientific development in accordance with the regulations followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Another component of the agreements is the exchange of work experiences and information between the two parties, to also   prepare  seminar  topics , lectures and meetings, to achieve  the job market needs . The agreement also included   sharing professional advanced experience and  providing an opportunity for all relevant parties to attend conferences and seminars that  are held  by one of the two parties of this agreement, as well as  participating in celebrations and professional events organized by each party. In Addition to that, the agreement aims to encourage inter-visits between professionals, researchers and specialists to exchange experiences and information from both parties, give lectures, consult, raise the efficiency of coordination, and exchange scientific and professional visits.

KKU Signs Agreement With Saudi German Hospital

Source King Khalid University - Media Center At the start of the Fall 2020 semester, in the presence of His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, a cooperation agreement was inked with Asir's Saudi German Hospital. His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy explained that the agreement comes within the sense of responsibility to achieve integration between the two sides to raise the level of programs and activities that serve human development in the Asir. The agreement, which was signed in the presence of Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Saad Al-Amri, and Saudi German Hospital CEO, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehri, will include holding medical conferences, workshops, and medical seminars, as well as marketing events to students from health colleges, faculty members, and health institutions. CEO Al-Shehri thanked His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy and Vice Rector Al-Amri for signing the agreement, calling for permanent cooperation to serve the region and its children.

King Khalid University Signs Landmark Agreement

King Khalid University signed a cooperation agreement with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief). KSrelief is dedicated to coordinating and providing international relief to crisis-afflicted communities. The cooperation agreement will strengthen the partnership between both parties in accord with the commitment to develop a more impactful non-profit sector as set forth in Vision 2030. His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, represented King Khalid University. His Excellency Royal Court Advisor, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiea, represented KSrelief. The signing took place at KSrelief's headquarters in Riyadh. Rector Al-Solamy explained that the purpose of this cooperation agreement is to ensure that the public's best interest is served in a systematic and consistent manner. The agreement encompasses a wide variety of areas. Cooperation will entail seminars, lecture, studies in the humanitarian field, training programs, and advisory programs. This will add to the symbol of humanitarian action the Kingdom holds.

King Khalid University Signs Landmark Agreement Initial Memorandum of Understanding Reached With the Elm Company

King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Elm Company (‘Elm’). Elm is a leading provider of innovative digital solutions owned by the Public Investment Fund. Elm will provide to King Khalid University a fully integrated training program to certify law students and to help young lawyers earn their license.  Vice Rector of Academic Development & Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, represented King Khalid University. Deputy Business Executive Director, Dr. Nasser Al-Mashari, represented Elm. The signing took place in the presence of the Community Service and Continuous Education Dean, Dr. Omar Alwan Aqeel. Vice Rector Al-Shahrani explained that the purpose of this license training program is to ensure that law students and neophyte lawyers can successfully transition from academic study to the actual practice of law. The training programs were designed by highly experienced legal scholars and practitioners. The training focuses on the procedural aspects and practical knowledge required to navigate the legal system within the Kingdom. The training program also prepares burgeoning lawyers to attend various types of hearings and represent relevant interests in court. Vice Rector Al-Shahrani also thanked Rector Al-Solamy for his continued encouragement and support for these important development programs. Dean Aqeel noted: "This agreement represents the strategic partnership between the university law center and Elm. The collaborative training program will help prepare law students for legal board exams and licensing. In addition to being expertly developed, the training program will be supervised under the watchful eye of the Ministry of Justice. This unique program will be an excellent opportunity to those who studied Sharia, and a useful tool to ensure that the Kingdom has sufficient legal expertise to serve the public in an increasingly complex world."

In the Presence of His Royal Highness the Governor of Asir King Khalid University Signs Agreement With General Authority for Meteorology

Along with His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region, His Excellency Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy signed an Experience in Environmental Studies Cooperation Agreement with the President of the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection, Dr. Musleh bin Khalil Al-Thaqafi. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Emirate of Asir Undersecretary, Eng. Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Rabiah. On this auspicious occasion, His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy expressed his pleasure in having His Royal Highness oversee the signing of the agreement between the university and the Authority, which will have a positive impact on the study of environmental science in the Asir Region. Vice rector of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Saad Al-Amry, expressed his appreciation to His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy and the President of the General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection for signing this agreement as well as the entrustment to King Khalid University to be the home for environmental studies. Vice Rector Al-Amry added that the university with the support of the rector, has assumed a leading role in scientific research at the domestic and international levels. It is also worth noting that King Khalid University has achieved top 5 status among Saudi universities and is within the top 500 for all universities worldwide as per QS World University Rankings.
