The Deanship of E-learning at King Khalid University announced the statistics for the third week of the Fall 2020 semester. The statistics included the completion of 13,202 virtual sessions for 50,782 students distributed across 14,752 sections among 2,654 faculty members, resulting in 534,084 impressions.
Dean of E-learning, Dr. Naif Jabali, explained that the current educational process at King Khalid University is electronic. He praised the response of faculty members and students in facing the change to an online learning environment, noting that his team delivered a training course to 369 faculty members on designing recorded lectures. Dean Jabali also noted that the course titled" E-Learning Practitioner" was delivered to 146 faculty members. "The Deanship of E-Learning is eager to offer educational courses on the mechanisms of e-learning. In week 3, we also delivered a training course titled 'E-Learning Skills' 1,829 students," he concluded.
It's worth mentioning the Deanship of E-Learning — during the third week — offered services of which 536 were through the phone, 336 through WhatsApp, 7 through the Email, 6 through Zoom and 26 through the Deanship's office. 56% of the services were for faculty members and 44% for students. Of note, the Tamkeen YouTube is approaching 75K views since week 1 of the semester.
