Two high diplomas at King Khalid University received a classification and accreditation from the Ministry of Civil Service, within a group of higher diploma programs approved by the University Council and was submitted for accreditation.
The dean of postgraduate studies at the university, Dr. Ahmed bin Yahya Al-Faie, said that the ministry recently adopted two high diploma programs, they are the Diploma of Law at the College of Business and the Diploma in the Prevention of Drug and Psychotropic Substances at the College of Education. .
He also stressed the importance of adopting and categorizing such programs because of their scientific and professional needs, in addition to their contribution in developing and achieving the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030, praising the role of the faculties of the university to develop frameworks and plans a number of diplomas and master’s and doctoral programs that constitute a qualitative addition to the university.
The Deanship is working on the classification of a number of programs that touch the needs of society and the labour market, which have already been approved by the University Council, the most prominent of which are the Higher Diploma in Safety Engineering and Fire Protection at the Faculty of Engineering, and the Higher Diploma in Cyber Security at the Faculty of Computer Science.
